If you want to escape the city’s hustle and bustle, try the Hundred Islands in Alaminos City, Pangasinan.

What to see: The Hundred Islands Park boasts of a rich marine life and wonderful coral gardens which house thousands of different species. On top of each island, simply stirring is the 360-degree view of the nearby isles and the warm heat of the sun radiating across the sea to form diamond-like glitters in the water. Each island in Pangasinan is like a work of art that blends rock formations of different dimensions and a forest of trees covering its entirety.

What to do: Alaminos is one of the best places for snorkeling and scuba diving.

What they say: Arjae, 22, a blog writer: “The Hundred Islands National Park encourages one to island-hop. For people in search of an escape from the busy metro life, the view from the top of the island is a site to behold. Alaminos, Pangasinan is about six hours from the hustle bustle of Manila. The park promises a vacation like no other as it features breath-taking views and magnificent locations.”
